Retrospective Planning Applications

If you have already built an extension or made alterations to a property or listed building without planning consent, you may be approached by the Planning Enforcement team. You may have been unaware that you needed approval. If they confirm that you should have obtained the relevant approval, you might have to take the building down or put back the property to how it was before the changes were made.

In cases they may give you an opportunity to make a retrospective planning application, to get the works approved. Let's Design Architecture will help to ensure that your retrospective planning application is made within the time constraints to assist with obtaining a positive outcome of the enforcement case, if this can be achieved.

Let's Design Architecture can help you work it out

Remember that works should not be undertaken on a listed building without planning and/or listed building consent. It is always best to seek advice prior to carrying out any building works.
